Relationship Advice for the Fellas: Compliments

A woman likes to know that her man thinks she's attractive and worth pursuit, but sometimes a man can get a little tunnel-visioned with his lady.

We want you to be attracted to us, don't get us wrong, and we understand that you want a woman that is easy on the eyes. We really don't have a problem with that. But gentlemen, don't forget to compliment her character.

Is she funny, clever, smart, impressive, insightful, compassionate, fascinating, strong, well-spoken, talented, creative, artistic, surprising, poetic, intelligent, moral, witty, etc.? Tell her so.

Beauty is multifaceted; a compilation of outer and inner qualities. If you can't see the inner beauty save the two of you some time and wasted emotion and move on and find someone who has the whole package.

I don't believe that there is one person for everyone, but I do believe looking for that someone who will feel like the whole package, who you'll see for everything she is, and love her for it is worth the risk.
And as a piece of not so "interpret- able" advice-- "hot" is never a  compliment. "Sexy" can be in the right contexts, but never "hot" (unless you're her gay best friend. Are you her gay best friend?).
